What are smart folders?

Smart folders are designed to simplify how you sort and manage your faxes. You can create different folders and categorize your faxes according to your preferences. By using smart folders, you make document retrieval easier and create a more systematic approach to filing.

There are plenty of ways you can use our smart folders. You can nest folders, sort faxes based on preference, and manage your fax folders from Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive, and Box Drive

Create smart folders in 5 easy steps.

Keeping your faxes organized on iFax is easy with the help of smart folders. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Sign in to your account on iFax.
  2. On your dashboard, click Folder.
  3. Select New Folder.
  4. Type in the folder name.
  5. Click Save.

Simply drag and drop to organize faxes.

  1. Select the fax you wish to move.
  2. Simply drag and drop the fax into the smart folder.
  3. A pop-up message will appear. Click Move Here to confirm the transfer.

Move faxes and documents across folders.

  1. Select the fax you want to transfer to the smart folder.
  2. Click the hamburger icon (three dots) on the right side of the fax transmission.
  3. Click Move to Folder.
  4. Click Move Here.

Sync Smart Folders With Any Cloud Storage

Connect and manage your folders from Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive, and Box. Here’s how to do this in iFax:

  1. Login to your iFax dashboard
  2. Go to Folders
  3. Click the hamburger icon (three dots) on the right side of “Folders.”
  4. Select and click on the cloud storage you want to sync with
  5. Authorize the sync to your account.
