Templates allow for the quick creation of fax broadcast messages, significantly boosting productivity. They also offer the convenience of not having to create a new document every time you broadcast a fax to a large group of recipients.
With iFax Web 7.14, you can now create reusable broadcast fax templates along with other feature updates like fax history reports, permission access for specific folders, and API custom field management.

Broadcast Fax Templates for Streamlining Outreach Efforts
The latest iFax Web update now lets you create and save pre-designed fax document layouts for efficient mass faxing.
Instead of needing to recreate the same document each time you send a fax broadcast, you can choose a pre-formatted fax document from the “Templates” tab. It saves you time and eliminates the need for repetitive work.
How it works
Creating a template for fax broadcasts is easy.
- On your fax dashboard, go to Broadcast Fax and click the Templates tab.
- Click New Template and upload your document. You can also use mail merge fields to personalize your fax document.
- Click Save to apply the changes, and the new fax broadcast template will immediately appear on the list.
Using fax broadcast templates for error-free and consistent faxing
Follow these steps when using a template for broadcast faxing:
- Start by hovering over the template you want to use.
- Click the New Fax button next to it to open the Compose Fax dialog.
- Select a broadcast list from the Add Recipients button.
The rest of the steps follow the same standard process for sending a fax broadcast. On your iFax Web dashboard, you can also rename, sort, and delete the fax broadcast templates you want to change or replace.
Fax History Reports for Sent and Received Faxes
From the Tools > Reports & Activity menu, users can now view detailed reports for fax history, mirroring the same level of information available to administrators.
You can also filter fax history reports by user, method, direction, time, or status. This feature lets you keep track of the faxes you sent and received, including the total number of credits used and refunded.
Permission Access to Specific Fax Folders
The latest iFax Web 7.14 update has also rolled out a new option for team management. From Teams & SSO via settings, administrators can grant users and groups access to specific fax folders, further enhancing security and control over sensitive and confidential data.

API Custom Field Management
Another important update to iFax Web 7.14 is the option to enable the programmatic setting of custom field values through the API. This allows for more flexibility and extensibility while streamlining data management.
Managing custom field data programmatically through the Fax API eliminates the need to configure fields manually in the admin interface. It also lets you update custom field values in bulk or as part of automated workflows.
